3rd National Open Javelin Throw Championships 2021 is scheduled to be held at JLN Stadium, New Delhi on 23-24 October 2021.
The Championships and events shall be organized in accordance with the Rules of World Athletics Competition & Technical Rules 2020 Edition & Indian Athletics Manual (updated as on 01.10.2020). The SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) issued by Govt. of India/MYAS/SAI/AFI & Government of Delhi shall be followed for hosting this National Athletics Championships.
Championships & Eligibility Details:
1. The individuals representing the “Affiliated States/UT Athletics Associations” and “Recognized Units” will enter in the Championships.
2. The Athletes belonging to the Men, Women, Under 20 years Boys, Under 20 years Girls, Under 18 years Boys, Under 18 years Girls, Under 16 years Boys and Under 16 years Girls can take part in this competition. 3. The entries should be submitted “ONLINE” on AFI Website directly by the individual athlete from 9th October to 20th October 2021. Entries sent by the mode other than “ONLINE” will not be accepted. In other words, no manual entry will be accepted. 4. Athletes have to carry negative RTPCR report even if they are vaccinated. Without valid RTPCR report athletes will not be allowed to enter in the Stadium. This report should only be 72 hours prior to the
commencement of the event.
5. The athletes who meet the Entry Standards will only be allowed to enter in the Competition. The performance must have been achieved either in National Championships/State Championships or AFI recognized Championships.
6. No spectator/coach/family member/accompanying person will be allowed for this championships and athletes will be allowed only 2 hours before the start of their event. Athletes have to vacate the
stadium immediately after the completion of their event. 7. Entry Fee of INR 1000/- per athlete will have to be paid online alongwith entry. Last date for receipt of Entries is 20th October 2021. The entry fee paid is non-refundable, hence athletes are advised to submit the entries only if they achieve the Entry Standard in National/State/UT Meets or AFI recognised meets.
